Jagan blames Naidu for chaos in pension distribution

Kanigiri (Prakasam dist), May 3: Squarely blaming Chandrababu Naidu and his henchmen for stalling the house-to-house distribution of pensions on the first of every month, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said a vote for YSRCP would ensure the smooth rolling of welfare schemes which the Opposition alliance will break it down.
Addressing a huge public meeting here on Friday, the Chief Minister said that Naidu has already shown his true colours by not making a mention of pensions in his Super 6 and Super 7 advertisement published in his friendly newspapers.
Naidu stooped too low driving pensioners in from pillar to post for collecting the amount in scorching heat unmindful of social responsibility and the distribution otherwise would have been done smoothly on the first day of every month he said, asking them to wait till June 4 after which the volunteers would be reinstated and old system would fall in place.
Asserting that Naidu didn’t do anything for the weaker sections despite being at the helm for 14 years, the number of pensioners went up to 66 lakh now from the 39 lakh in the TDP rule, he said, adding that Jagan only should be at the helm to continue the slew of welfare schemes and the reforms in various sectors.
Flaunting the TDP manifesto, the Chief Minister read out a number of election- promises on which Naidu defaulted and took all sections of people for a ride, and warned people that a vote for TDP would only result in the revival of Janma Bhoomi Committees and corruption.
If Jagan continues as the Chief Minister, all welfare schemes will continue, in his absence people have to suffer at the hands of TDP, he warned.
