Puttur (Tirupati Dist), May 10: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urged people not to fall prey to the impracticable and misleading super six and super seven promises of TDP and its allies as their intent has always been nit to keep up promises.
Addressing a huge public meeting here on Friday, the Chief Minister said that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu cheated people by throwing the election manifesto into dust bin after winning the 2014 polls by making false promises in alliance with BJP and Jana Sena.
The same dispensation is now making huge promises with a view to hood wink the people again. TDP chief is a habitual liar who talks tall before polls and firgets once he gets power.
Listing out various welfare schemes implemented after YSRCP came to power, the Chief Minister asked the attending public if they had witnessed any one of such schemes in the past.
Every time he asked the question, the meeting echoed with a resounding no in unison.
When the Chief Minster. flaunting the 2014 TDP election manifesto copy, read out each of the main promises and asked them if Naidu had implemented any of the promises, the crowds again echoed with a big no.
Again, the highly charged crowd, repeatedly echoing CM, CM slogans, replied with a big no when the Chief Minister asked, can you believe Naidu’s promises.
Voting YSRCP to power is very much necessary to have a corruption free and transparent administration for the next five years to shape up the future of our students, farmers and reform the medical and health sectors completely, he told the people.
Stating that he has delivered his election promises clicking buttons 130 times, he urged people to press two buttons for YSRCP, one for Assembly and the other for Lok Sabha, to have a clean sweep of 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
