Janasena is TDP’s puppet

Tadepalli, March 15: Former Minister Ambati Rambabu made sharp remarks about the Janasena Party being established by Pawan Kalyan at the behest of Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu, asserting that Naidu effectively controls Janasena. Rambabu claimed that the Kapu community no longer trusted Naidu, prompting him to orchestrate the formation of Janasena, which secured 21 seats with the support of both TDP and Janasena.

He criticized Pawan Kalyan for misinterpreting public support as strength, comprising Naidu’s loyalists and individuals expelled from the YSRCP. Rambabu questioned what benefits people could expect from Janasena, pointing out the party’s failure to articulate a clear agenda. Pawan Kalyan is lacking ideology or strategy, shifting stances unpredictably from wearing a red scarf to adopting saffron hues, leaving the public confused about his intentions.

Janasena leaders are embroiled in illegal activities such as sand and liquor smuggling. He singled out a minister involved in rice, vigilance, raids, and money-related scandals, questioning Pawan Kalyan’s silence on such exploitation.
Turning to Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Rambabu labeled him a power-hungry individual with a known history of switching parties, whose amassed wealth is no secret to the public. He also criticized Balashouri, who won elections using YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s image, but now resorts to criticism.

Rambabu contrasted Pawan Kalyan’s 16-year journey to enter the Assembly, achieved only with multi-party support, with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rise to Chief Minister within a decade through a determined struggle against Delhi’s establishment. He cautioned that glamour and power might attract crowds but urged Pawan Kalyan not to overestimate his prospects, predicting that the Kapu community would realize his inability to become Chief Minister, likening it to a cinematic climax.

Rambabu also remarked on Nagababu’s newfound MLC position fueling unrealistic ambitions and criticized the sidelining of Pithapuram Varma post-elections, urging basic respect for him. He warned Pawan Kalyan against treating Pithapuram as his stronghold and accused him of leveraging “north Indian arrogance” for opportunistic politics.
