Ponnavolu lambasts TDP

Hyderabad, Feb 15: Alleging that the state sponsored terrorism is rampant in Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP General Secretary said there is constitutional breakdown with the nexus of TDP and its friendly media paying havoc and driving people away from their villages and resorting to political vendetta.

Speaking to media here on Saturday, he said the state has been unleashing terror statewide and in a village near Macherla minorities were driven out of the village and they were threatened not to return and a former MLA was not allowed to visit his constituency in Tadipatri, barring a brief period of the intervention of the court and numerous incidents of foisting false cases with serious sections on social media activists has become order of the day.

Being the voice of the people YSRCP is raising its voice against the stat sponsored terrorism which not breakdown of law and order but constitutional breakdown and the media house that has targeted YSRCP by creating a negative opinion is now sharing the spoils with the State Government and has formed into a nexus for mutual benefit.

The manner in which Satyavardhan, who confessed before the designated court that he has nothing to do with the case and no one had abused him in the name of caste, was hunted down and brought down from Visakhapatnam shows the measure of breakdown of institutions which shows that fundamental rights are at risk, he said.

The government is interfering with the functioning of all the institutions and social media activists are being facing harsh sections like BNS 111 are booked under organized crime.

The vindictive nature of the government is further visible in the fact that the CID officers who investigated the Margadarsi case were not given any posting. The media house that has helped TDP by spinning false stories on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led government has now formed a nexus and is benefiting out of the generosity of the ruling party.

Being the voice of the voiceless I can show to any commission that comes forward the villages that have banned people from entering and other atrocities being sponsored by the State, he said.
