YS Jagan Likens TDP’s Defeat To Poetic Justice

Guntur: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attributed his party’s stunning victory in the recent held elections to god who let TDP pay for its immoral acts in form of humiliating drubbing.
YS Jagan addressed a large gathering of Muslims in Guntur on Monday during the Iftar party hosted by the State government. Likening the election verdict to poetic justice of sorts, he said the TDP was now left with 23 MLAs, the number of MLAs it had illegally taken away from YSRCP in the last five years. Similarly, it had illegally taken away three YSRCP MPs and now its tally in Parliament was reduced to three, he said.
“This shows how well god writes the script,” he told the gathering which applauded his remarks with thunderous claps mesmerised by his logic.
He said four out of the five Muslim candidates who had contested on YSRCP ticket won, and promised to offer MLC seat to Iqbal Ahmed Khan who lost from Hindupur constituency. It was the first public function he had attended after becoming Chief Minister. He offered special prayers on the occasion.
