Dharmana Prasad Rao: Chandrababu should answer what 'Quality of Life' did he bring with his so-called development
As part of the 'Samajika Sadhikara Yatra,' YSRCP leaders took to the streets of Elamanchili in Anakapalli today highlighting the unparalleled developments witnessed in the state during the four-and-a-half years of CM Jagan's governance. The yatra covered three significant locations —Elamanchili in Anakapalli district, Narasaraopet in Palnadu district, and Mydukur in Kadapa district. During the bus yatra in Elamanchili, prominent YSRCP leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Budi Mutyala Naidu, Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasad, IT Minister Gudivada Amaranth, Anakapalli MP Beesetty Venkata Satyavati, Anakapalli District President Boddeda Prasad MLA Karanam Dharmasri, and Elamanchili MLA Kannababu Raju were present.
Anakapalli MP Beesetty Venkata Satyavati emphasised that the state has excelled in various sectors, showcasing comprehensive development. She stated, "Why the talk of the town is all about 'Why AP Needs Jagan'? The Opposition says YSRCP only gives welfare, but the irony is that they are also saying that they would do the same after coming into power. But, here are the facts that go undisputed. Today, AP stands No.1 in ease of doing business while giving welfare to the poor simultaneously. During TDP's regime, the state's GDP was at the 18th position, but it has spiked up to the 7th position in our Jagananna's rule. Why the purchasing power has increased for women today? About Rs 1 lakh to 3 lakh is given through DBT without any caste, religion, or political divide. This is how we walk the talk and show what development is."
Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao commended CM Jagan for his unwavering commitment to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh. He also questioned, "Can Chandrababu dare to say that he has improvised the quality of life of the people, but Jagan can say with full conviction."
Describing CM Jagan's concept of social justice, which has resonated strongly with the people of Andhra Pradesh, Anakapalli District President Boddeda Prasad said, "For Chandrababu, social justice merely means doing justice to one class and one community. However, CM Jagan's idea of social justice is to strengthen the education system so that no poor should suffer, to put money in the accounts of the poor through DBT without having to squander a penny in the name of corruption, to govern the state defying the caste politics, and to give shelter to the homeless. Hence the answer to the question, 'Why AP Needs Jagan' because he is the true leader who can show development in each and everyone's life."
Elamanchili MLA Kannababu Raju emphasised the developmental initiatives carried out in his constituency by the YSRCP government. He stated, "Recognizing the challenges faced by fishermen, our YSRCP government has proposed the construction of 8 jetties in the state, including our Pudimadaka jetty, which accounts for 397 crores. By next year, this jetty will be all set to accommodate 950 boats. Further, Asian Paints, under the CSR facility, has dug 40 ponds that have not dried even during drought seasons. Isn't this all development? Our work speaks development, whereas TDP's work speaks corruption."
