Sharmila enters Visakhapatnam district

Visakhapatnam, June 24,
2013: Smt. Y.S.Sharmila, who has been undertaking Maro Praja Prasthanam
Padayatra on behalf of YSRCP Chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has entered
Visakhapatnam district on the 189th day of her walkathon on Monday.
As thousands of party
activists followed her, she stepped into the district by reaching the village
Gannavaram Metta of Narsipatnam constituency to a rousing reception by the
party leaders and activists. Smt. Sharmila unveiled a statue of Dr. YSR and
addressed a public meeting later in the village.
Dr. YSR also entered
Visakhapatnam district during his 2003 historical Padayatra by stepping into
this village where he addressed a public meeting.
Smt. Sharmila has
completed walking a distance of 2500 km when she had reached Kakarapally
village of Tuni constituency on Sunday.
