Narasaraopeta district dream pending since 65 years realized under CM Jagan’s visionary leadership’, says MLA Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy
YSRCP’s Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra took place in Narasaraopeta constituency, Palnadu district today where YSRCP's top leadership launched a vigorous offensive against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Later, emphasizing the bus yatra's focus on social and political empowerment, YSRCP leaders underscored the upliftment of marginalized communities. Distinguished leaders from BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities including Merugu Nagarjuna, Adimulapu Suresh, Karumuri Nageswara Rao, MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayulu, MLAs Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy, Hafeez Khan and other senior leaders participated in the bus yatra.
Addressing a huge gathering of people, Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna emphatically affirmed that CM Jagan is dedicated to the welfare of BC, SC, ST, and minority people and highlighted the significant strides in benefitting the poor Dalits, enabling BCs to lead their lives with pride, and fostering contentment among minorities. The minister asserted that CM Jagan allotted a substantial 80% out of 2.75 lakh allocated jobs to BC, SC, ST, and minority communities.
The minister cautioned against falling prey to what he termed as hypocritical narratives, particularly the opposition TDP-JSP alliance suggesting a union of thieves in the upcoming 2024 elections. He urged the public to throw their support behind CM Jagan in the next election, emphasizing the importance of securing his victory.
Highlighting CM Jagan’s impactful leadership, Minister Adimulapu Suresh emphasized the resolution of challenges faced by drum artists Padmashalis and other community members. Suresh, hailing from the Dalit community, underscored his ministerial appointment and the elevation of others to Deputy Chief Ministers attributing it to CM Jagan. He went on to hail CM Jagan, as the key catalyst for achieving political, economic, and social empowerment of the backward communities in the state.
Taking the opportunity to criticise TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, the minister accused Chandrababu of attempting to conceal his wrongdoings and asserted that Naidu’s deceptions would not succeed in light of numerous scandals he committed over the years. Also, the minister alleged that Chandrababu engaged in caste-based division and claimed that Naidu today secured bail in a Skill Development Scam by paying a substantial amount.
MP Krishna Devarayulu on an electrifying note declared that he stands before the people today after having successfully fulfilled every promise made during the 2019 elections. The MP highlighted that the YSRCP government has successfully implemented the Navaratna welfare schemes to all the eligible beneficiaries, including the Varikapudishala Lift Irrigation Scheme, construction of roads amounting to Rs 3,000 crores, and establishment of a medical college along with three central schools in the district.
Thanking CM Jagan for establishing Narasaraopeta district, MLA Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy highlighted the realization of the 65-year-old Narasaraopeta district dream and attributed it to CM Jagan. He also said that the YSRCP government over the last 4.5 years disbursed Rs 560 crores through DBT for welfare schemes and another Rs 280 crore for non-DBT to the beneficiaries in the constituency.
Anticipating further progress, the MLA revealed forthcoming court establishments in Narasaraopet town. Emphasizing infrastructural advancements, he outlined investments of Rs.150 crores in the development of JNTU college, enhancement of water taps, drains, and roads in the suburbs, and allocation of 110 acres for Tidco houses and Jagananna colonies for the underprivileged.
The MLA also announced the approval for Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rompicharla, along with permissions for the construction of bypass roads at Chilakaluripet and Narasaraopet. These initiatives collectively signify a comprehensive array of development programs aimed at uplifting the region and improving the lives of its residents.
YSRCP’s Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra also took place at Elamanchali in Anakapalli district(North Zone) and Mydukur in YSR Kadapa district(South Zone) today.
