Tadepalli, March 2: YSRCP MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar has strongly criticized Chandrababu Naidu over his remarks and accused him of lacking vision and instead spewing venom through his statements.
MLA Chandrasekhar condemned Naidu for speaking in an unrestrained and provocative manner, questioning the Chief Minister’s motives and his comments are filled with malice and vengeance. He described Naidu’s statements as hateful and divisive, pointing out that they appear to be a continuation of remarks made by TDP leader Atchennaidu, who reportedly asked Naidu to favor those who financially supported the party.
Chandrasekhar also took issue with the Home Minister’s claim that YSRCP leaders would not be able to step onto the streets if the government willed it, accusing both the Chief Minister and the Home Minister of speaking with arrogance and spite.
The MLA raised serious concerns about Naidu’s leadership, questioning whether he would continue as Chief Minister and whether his governance serves only TDP leaders or the entire populace. Naidu is diverting funds to his son Lokesh’s constituency to secure his position as Chief Minister, while YSRCP leaders who question the government face false cases and imprisonment.
Chandrasekhar contrasted this with former Chief Minister Jagan’s tenure, stating that Jagan governed without discrimination based on caste or religion, whereas the current coalition government is steeped in bias. He accused the administration of targeting the Reddy community and harassing Dalit officers, demanding an immediate apology from Naidu for his remarks and urging the Governor and the Central Government to respond to the issue.
Additionally, Chandrasekhar criticized the government’s neglect of the Veligonda project, challenging Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu to speak truthfully about its status and accusing him of failing to allocate funds for the R&R package while offering empty promises. He announced that a padyatra would soon be undertaken to advocate for the Veligonda project and called on Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to visit the site, assess the reality, and explain what his department has done for Erragondapalem. The MLA also highlighted the struggles of West Prakasam, where people face difficulties accessing even a handful of water, questioning the government’s apparent indifference and hostility toward the region.
