Choose between progressive Jagan, regressive Babu, CM tells voters
01 May 2024 8:06 PM
Bobbili/Payakraopeta/Eluru, May 1: Terming the election of 2024 as a choice between the progressive agenda of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the tantrums of regressive and renegade Chandrababu, the Chief Minister cautioned the people to maintain utmost caution and wisdom in casting their vote on May 13 to elect a leader whom they believe has delivered goods during the past 58 and not to those who went back on their poll promises and cheated every section of the society.
Addressing largely attended public meetings on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said the choice before the people is between the credibility of Jagan, who took forward the welfare measures through DBT and the hypocrisy of Chandrababu who has no consistent policy and has scant respect for manifesto and election promises.
The Chief Minister rubbished the Opposition’s malicious propaganda on Land Titling Act and affirmed the main intention of the Government is to reinforce the rights of people on their lands and not take them away being drummed up by Chandrababu and his gang.
Jagan is always known for giving and not taking away while Chandrababu has the history of usurping the Party and Chief Minister post from his father-in-law NT Rama Rao. The records of contrast are wide open in the memory of people to verify, he said.
The frustration of Chandrababu has reached new peaks and he lost his coherence of speech and started speaking in terms of eliminating me. Such talk stems from the desperation and helplessness and I will not be cowed down by such pale threats as I have people’s blessings in abundance and they stand as a shield to me, he said.
The coming elections are not a caste war but a class war with Jagan taking the side of poor and Chandrababu leading the pack of feudal, he said and listed out the welfare schemes, amount spent and laying a golden path for the future generation while bringing in revolutionary changes in various sectors and has strongly manifested its commitment for social justice.
While our Government has distributed Rs 2.70 lakh crores through DBT with full transparency, Chandrababu was found wanting in implementation of welfare schemes and social justice.
YSRCP Government has ushered in an unprecedented revolution in the administration and in several other sectors including education through English medium schools and implementing plethora of schemes like Amma Vodi, Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Vasathi Deevena.
The Government has also accorded utmost priority to the farm sector by implementing Rythu Bharosa, e-cropping, input subsidy and 9-hour day time free power supply besides establishing RBKs and reforming the administration through village and ward secretariats.
We have also revolutionised the health care system through a robust YSR Aarogyasri and Aarogya Suraksha camps, he said, adding that several other schemes like Law Nestham, Matsya Kara Bharosa, Kapu Nestham, EBC Nestham, YSR Cheyuta and door delivery of monthly social pensions and 50 per cent reservations to weaker sections in nominated posts and contracts have ensured social justice.
CM rubbishes Naidu’s false propaganda on Land Titling Act
Payakaraopet (Anakapalle dist.), May 1: Going hammer and tongs against TDP president Chandrababu Naidu for leading a disinformation campaign on the AP Land Titling Act, Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told people not to be carried away by the false propaganda of the Opposition.
Addressing a large public meeting here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister assured people that the Act would only reinforce the people’s rights on their lands and not take away them as being tom-tomed by the TDP and its allies and Jagan is known for giving and not for taking away anything from anyone.
Slamming Naidu and his friendly media for spreading malicious propaganda on the Act, the Chief Minister stressed that people are not ready to buy their misinformation campaign.
People are aware of the gimmicks of the TDP chief and are not ready to be taken for a ride once again by his tantrums, he said, adding that casting a vote for TDP is nothing but a perilous act of keeping head into a python’s mouth. He further asked people to be wary of the evil designs of Naidu who knows how to fly with lies and deceitfulness.
He told people that YSRCP Government has ushered in an unprecedented revolution in the administration and in several other sectors including education through English medium schools and implementing plethora of schemes like Amma Vodi, Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Vasathi Deevena.
The May 13 polls are a war between the poor and the Chandrababu’s deceitfulness, the Chief Minister cautioned and urged the people to give a second term to the YSRCP which strived for the welfare of the people and which will continue to do so in the next five years.
