Tadepalli, April 14: YSRCP leader and former MP Margani Bharat strongly criticized the coalition government and Minister Parthasaradhi for making misleading and irresponsible remarks. He said the government is trying to divert public attention from the “Mavigun” proposal suggested by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, Bharat said the comments made by MP Mithun Reddy were deliberately misinterpreted. He clarified that Mithun Reddy’s statement meant willingness to sacrifice for the nation and the state, but it was twisted as something else. He condemned the language used by the minister and said such remarks are unacceptable.
Bharat stated that YS Jagan is the true follower of B. R. Ambedkar, as he implemented 50 percent reservation for women and worked for social justice. He alleged that under the current government, attacks on weaker sections have increased and constitutional values are being ignored.
He questioned the need to send nine ministers to Singapore for training and criticized it as unnecessary. He also raised concerns about Amaravati, calling it impractical and driven by real estate interests. He said the Mavigun proposal is more practical and beneficial for people.
Bharat urged the government to have an open discussion on development plans instead of using abusive language. He said people are now understanding the reality and are supporting practical alternatives like Mavigun.
