Reject anti-welfare forces: CM

Chilakaluripeta, (Palnadu dist), May 11: Reject anti welfare forces and give a thumping majority to YSRCP in the May 13 elections for an uninterrupted flow of pro-poor schemes, affirmed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rounding off his election campaign on Saturday.
Addressing a huge public meeting here, the Chief Minister cautioned people that a vote for YSRCP will ensure continuity of all welfare schemes for the next five years and safeguard the future of our children while a vote for TDP and allies will result in stoppage of all schemes.
He said that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, who has no history of doing any good to the people, has stalled the door delivery of monthly social pensions and disbursal of funds for on-going welfare schemes besides unleashing a malicious propaganda on the Land Titling Act.
Calling on people not to be misled by the disinformation campaign of TDP and its friendly media, the Chief Minister once again clarified that the Act is only meant to safeguard the interests of land owners who would be given original documents after registrations.
So far, nine lakh registrations were completed and all the owners were given original documents only, he said, adding TDP and Jana Sena leaders also bought lands in Visakhapatnam and they should tell whether or not they got original documents.
Naidu, who won the 2014 elections in alliance with BJP and Jana Sena with impracticable promises and dumped the manifesto in dustbin later, is once again hoodwinking voters with super six and super seven manifesto under the same dispensation, he said and asked the people to reject the TDP and allies outright.
While YSRCP implemented 99 per cent of its manifesto promises in the last 59 months, disbursing Rs.2.7 lakh crore DBT welfare funds in transparency, creating 2.31 lakh Government jobs, empowering women and farmers, overhauling the administration and reforming the education and health and medical sectors, Naidu cheated all sections of people after winning the mandate in 2014 elections besides selling away the special category status, he said.
Stating that he has clicked buttons130 times for their sake, he urged them to assess if they had benefitted from the Government, press two buttons for YSRCP, one for Assembly and the other for Lok Sabha and give it clean sweep victory of 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats for continuing the welfare saga.
