YS Jagan slams CM Naidu

Tadepalli, Feb 23: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came down heavily on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for deceiving unemployed youth, employees, and people from all sections of society.
Taking to X, he criticized Naidu for betraying Group 2 candidates and creating confusion before the exams. For three weeks, the government pretended to listen to Group-2 candidates and assured them of justice.
However, in the end, their concerns were ignored. Just two days before the exam, the Education Minister, who is also Chandrababu Naidu’s son, made false promises to address their issues.
Despite the Chief Minister's assurances, APPSC went ahead with the exams, ignoring government orders. The government also used police force against protesting candidates, showing its insensitivity. Holding exams in such a chaotic situation was completely unfair.
YS Jagan pointed out several other betrayals by the TDP government.
The Mega DSC recruitment has not provided a single job, even after cancelling the previous DSC. The Job Calendar, promised every January, was never implemented. The government removed 2.6 lakh village and ward volunteers, despite promising to increase their salaries. Staff in the village and ward secretariats were reduced, and job opportunities were cut permanently. The government also failed to provide the Rs 3,000 unemployment allowance, misleading many families.
Many employees lost their jobs in AP Beverages Corporation, FiberNet, AP EDC, and the Health Department, throwing their lives into uncertainty. The promised IR (Interim Relief) for government employees was never given. The government forced the PRC (Pay Revision Commission) Chairman to resign and has not appointed a new one yet.
Government employees received timely salaries only once, after which delays became routine. Three DA (Dearness Allowance) hikes are still pending. Travel Allowance, surrender leave payments, and medical reimbursements have also been put on hold. The government even misused the GLI (Group Life Insurance) and GPF (General Provident Fund) contributions of employees, creating financial troubles for them.
YS Jagan said Chandrababu Naidu’s rule is full of betrayal and injustice. He assured that he would stand with the people and support their protests against the government's failures.
