Tadepalli, March 8: TJR Sudhakar Babu, YSRCP SC Cell State President and former MLA, challenged CM Chandrababu Naidu to an open debate on "murder politics". He accused Naidu of turning cabinet meetings into "comedy gatherings," ignoring public issues and election promises like Super Six while fixating on former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sudhakar Babu criticized Naidu for discussing the CBI-investigated YS Vivekananda Reddy murder, committed during TDP’s rule, and the recent death of Viveka’s watchman Rangayya due to illness, calling it a diversion tactic.
He stated that Naidu had hatched a conspiracy by Naidu to defame YS Jagan and split his family, using YS Jagan’s sisters politically. Sudhakar Babu questioned linking the witnesses’ deaths to YS Jagan’s family and demanded Naidu probe why Dasthagiri, who confessed to Viveka’s murder, is out on bail. Sudhakar Babu also urged a probe into Shameem’s missing phone, deleted WhatsApp chats, and deaths of witnesses like EC Gangireddy, Narayana, and Abhishek Reddy, asking if power grants impunity.
He challenged Naidu to discuss murders from Mallela Babji to Vinukonda Rashid, alongside incidents in Naidu’s family, Balakrishna’s house shooting, his guard’s death, Nara Rammurthy Naidu’s mental decline, and Taraka Ratna’s sudden demise, claiming YSRCP is ready for a live debate.
Sudhakar Babu accused Naidu of shielding the Viveka case during his 2014-19 tenure and ignoring similar witness deaths in cases like Paritala Ravi’s. He condemned linking natural deaths to YSRCP as a vile conspiracy, warning Naidu’s actions would backfire. He called on YS Jagan’s sisters, Sharmila and Sunitha, to recognize Naidu’s manipulative tactics. He warned that pinning "murder politics" on YSRCP would backfire, becoming a curse for the guilty, and affirmed readiness to debate on any platform.
