YSRCP MP refutes Eenadu Allegations.

Y.V. Subba Reddy, Member of Parliament from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), issued a strong rebuttal to the allegations made in the Eenadu Dist. Edition (Tirupati) dated 6.7.2024, regarding the grant of Inam land in Tiruchanur village.

The published news is entirely false and politically motivated, designed to damage  reputation, the MP said. He clarified that he has no knowledge or interest in the mentioned lands, and this news comes as a complete surprise to him.

Upon further inquiry, the following facts were revealed:

The land in S. No. 378/2, measuring 4.50 acres, was originally granted as an Inam ryotwari patta in 1985 by the then Inam Deputy Tahsildar, Chittoor.
The ryotwari patta was issued to Sri V. Rangappa (Retd. ASP). The land is currently occupied by his son, Sri V. Natraj Prasad, and has a mango garden approximately 30 years old.
There has been an ongoing land dispute for the past 30 years involving the Revenue Department, the Commissioner of Appeals in Hyderabad, and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
The Commissioner of Appeals upheld the patta grant in 2004, and the High Court of Andhra Pradesh upheld it in 2011. However, the Division Bench in 2021 remanded the matter for a fresh inquiry.

YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy emphasized that these baseless allegations are a result of political opponents trying to create unnecessary turmoil. He reiterates that he has no direct or indirect interest in the land or its proceedings.
