Tirupati: YSRCP's state general secretary, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, criticised that the union Government had taken the decision of demonetization without giving proper thought to it. Protesting against the decision, he held a deeksha at Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Tirupati on Tuesday. He mentioned that they had to speak out against the Government in spite of its right deed, in light of the troubles being faced by people.
Bhumana remarked that the Union Government, although with good intention, had implemented a decision that gave a huge blow to the general public. Mentioning how people were standing on the roads for hours to draw their money, he wondered how the Government had not realised this situation while making statements that the arrow shot by it had gone into the hearts of black money holders making them sleepless. Bhumana commented that the people who had given votes for their victory were now standing on the streets for notes.
AP CM Chandrababu, his son Lokesh and his allies had gotten hold of the information about demonetization and whitened his black money well in advance, remarked Bhumana. He added that they had bought lands in and around capital Amaravathi and spent lakhs and crores of black money, making it white. He demanded answer for this accusation from them.
