Fulfill assurances to Kapus

Hyderabad, March 4: YSR Congress has demanded that Chandrababu Naidu should fulfill the assurances given to Kapu leader Mudragad Padmnabham before the deadline he had set and said the Chief Minister should shun from the practice of shifting the blame of his failures on the Opposition Party.
‘It is shameful that TDP has been blaming our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his failure to keep up his promise he had given to the Kapu leader and this has been an old practice,’ party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on Friday.
“We do support the stir as we are in favour of reservations to the Kapu community but TDP blaming YS Jagan Mohan Reddy saying that he has been instigating the Kapu stir is ridiculous. The assurance was given by a delegation to Padmanabham on behalf of the government and if it fails to fulfill the promise how is our party responsible,’ he said.
TDP Kapu leaders should conduct themselves in a dignified manner and not against the community, he said adding that if it goes back on the assurance the consequences would be dire.
Blaming our leader for everything that goes wrong has been the practice of the TDP as was done during arson in the agriculture fields of Thulluru and the Ratnachal Express and it comes out of frustration, he said and demanded that the assurances should be honoured before the set deadline.
