YSRCP students wing to organise 'Fees Poru' on October 25

The YSRCP student wing will organize a Fees Poru (fight for fee reimbursement) protest at all the district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh on October 25. 

Stating this on Tuesday, YSRCP national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy said that the Chandrababu Naidu government had watered down the ambitious fees reimbursement scheme brought in by late YSR to enable the students from poor economic background to pursue higher studies.

He said that the Government has allowed the colleges to hike the fees on one hand, but has been reimbursing only Rs 35000. This is nothing but watering down the welfare scheme that lighted up the lives of the poor students. He said that the students will organize Fees Poru and then submit memorandums to the district collectors on October 25. Vijayasai Reddy called upon the students wing of the party to make this programme a huge success.
