Kakinada, Feb 25: Former minister Kurasala Kannababu said that Chandrababu Naidu is scared of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP which is the reason why Opposition Party status is being denied.
Speaking to media here on Tuesday, Kanna babu said, YSRCP is the sole opposition party in the House and the status is being denied as their true colours would be exposed by our Party leader in the Assembly.
The way Chandrababu spoke on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address is nothing but self boasting and telling blatant lies.
He is noted for not adhering to the established practices. He denied mike to NTR during his earlier term while usurping Party and power from his father-in-law and now his going back on awarding opposition stats shows his mindset, he said.
The way Chandrababu ill-treated former Governors is well known and a person with such a record now comes to tell that YSRCP has no respect towards Governor which is ridiculous.
Walking out of the Assembly is an established practice which was done by many political parties on numerous occasions.
Introspecting the issues during the past nine months tells us how Group-2 aspirants were deceived. The lies Chandrababu spread that Jagan government has taken loans worth Rs 14 lakh crores was proved to be in actual terms about Rs 7 lakh crores and the way the false propaganda was churned could be seen by one and all.
The coalition government has so far raised loans worth over Rs 1 lakh crores and there is no accountability. What happened to the money is not accounted for, he said.
Chandrababu has deceived all sections of people and made the Governor read out lies. They claimed of giving four lakh jobs which is not true. They have threatened Vice Chancellors to resign overnight. The coalition should these questions and read the Parliament guidelines on awarding the status of opposition, he said.
