Lawlessness, political vendetta define Naidu’s governance

MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar

Tadepalli, Feb 14: MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar condemned the worsening law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh, stating that constitutional governance has collapsed under Chandrababu Naidu’s administration. The ruling coalition is fostering fear, indulging in unlawful activities, and prioritizing political vendettas over justice.

Citing the Tirupati incident, he highlighted that a woman named Lakshmi was duped by Janasena leader Kiran Royal. Shockingly, instead of ensuring justice, a fabricated case was filed against her, leading to her arrest through out-of-state police forces.

In the Gannavaram case, he revealed that police illegally detained and harassed Satyavardhan. He questioned how Satyavardhan could have been "kidnapped" if he was found in police custody. He further stated that Satyavardhan himself informed the judge that he was forcibly made a witness and complainant in the case. Unable to counter these revelations, the government falsely implicated and jailed Vamsi. He also recalled, that in 2023, TDP leader Pattabhi incited violence against police, injuring CI Kanaka Rao, yet the case was manipulated to shield the guilty.

Raising concerns over suspicious fire incidents near their party office, he questioned the real perpetrators. He concluded that Naidu’s government is incapable of maintaining law and order, instead using state machinery to target political opponents with false cases and wrongful arrests.

Further, he questioned, the ruling alliance for ignoring governance and public welfare, particularly farmers' struggles due to the lack of minimum support prices.
