Tammineni Sitaram: CM Jagan is the only beacon of hope who has ensured social justice
The tenth day of the YSRCP 'Samajika Sadhikara' bus yatra saw a massive turnout in the Amudalavalasa constituency of Srikakulam district as the party top brass came together to share their message of social empowerment. The yatra, showcased the significant strides made under Chief Minister Jagan's leadership and reiterated the party's commitment to the region. Among the prominent speakers at the event were Speaker & MLA Tammineni Sitaram, Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, and Minister Seediri Appalaraju.
Addressing a huge gathering, Speaker Tammineni Sitaram highlighted the transformation that had taken place under Chief Minister Jagan's governance. He pointed out the stark differences between the previous TDP government and CM Jagan's administration and stated that ‘the people recognized CM Jagan as a beacon of hope.’ Speaker Sitaram Jagan stated, ‘Just like the people in the entire state, people of Amudalavalasa today want to thank CM Jagan for fulfilling their hopes and aspirations and looking after them just like his own family.’ He further called on the crowd to vote for CM Jagan and symbolically referred to ‘pressing the button on the fan symbol as a way to clear their debts and problems making way for prosperity.’
Soon thereafter, Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao lauded Chief Minister Jagan's accountability and commitment to fulfilling promises. He underlined the government's efforts to bridge social gaps and improve living conditions, particularly in backward communities. Minister Dharmana said, ‘CM Jagan is the only leader in the country who delivers on his word. He is a man who is known for fulfilling 99% of his manifesto promises. Unlike Chandrababu Naidu, who has cheated the people repeatedly, CM Jagan has delivered whatever he promised from the day he assumed office.’
Minister Dharmana also went on to criticize the motives behind the opposition's insistence on not making Visakhapatnam the capital, suggesting that the TDP leaders didn’t want further development to reach Visakhapatnam and wanted to serve their own business interests in Hyderabad. He further urged the public to support the YSRCP government, highlighting their continued dedication to the welfare of the people.
Minister Seediri Appalaraju also spoke about the significant improvements brought about by Chief Minister Jagan in fields such as education and healthcare. He drew a sharp contrast between Jagan's actions and those of the previous administration, challenging the opposition to prove their commitment to the region. Minister Seediri also mentioned Jagan's initiatives in creating local job opportunities, such as the construction of a port to curb youth migration.
Former Deputy Chief Minister & Srikakulam MLA Dharmana Krishna Das expressed his confidence in the YSRCP's ability to secure victory in the upcoming election. He raised the slogan of 175/175 and challenged the opposition to attempt contesting from all seats which the YSRCP was anyway prepared to win. Adding to the tirade, YSRCP SC Cell President Jupudi Prabhakar criticized Chandrababu Naidu's tenure as Chief Minister, accusing him of abusing political power during his 14-year rule and looting the people of the state.
In this rally, YSRCP leaders not only celebrated their achievements under Chief Minister Jagan's leadership but also made a resounding call for public support in the upcoming polls. They highlighted their commitment to continued development and welfare in the region specifically towards the marginalised.
