Chandrababu Prefers TV Campaign Over Relief!
19 Dec 2018 3:09 PM
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is bitten by campaign bug even as the cyclone Phethai crippled normal life in the coastal Andhra districts. The chief minister instructed authorities to prepare a TV documentary on the relief measures taken by his government in the cyclone hit areas first. The officials are busy recording video footage instead of the rescue operations needs to be done on war footing.
It was not new that Chandrababu preferred TV campaign over relief operations when the state hit by natural calamities.
During the last Godavari pushkaralu, the chief minister permitted TV crew to shoot the pushkaralu by throwing the safety of lakhs of devotees at the pushkar ghat to the winds leaving 40 persons dead in the stampede.
Chandrababu also managed to go scot free in the whole episode by distorting the investigation report in favour of his government.
