YSRCP's Impactful Welfare Measures

Over Rs 1,268 Crore Distributed to 1.38 Lakh Families in Badvel Constituency

On the 43rd day of the transformative Samajika Sadhikara yatra, the ruling YSRCP continued its impressive bus yatra, making a powerful show of strength in the Badvel assembly constituency in the Kadapa district. As the yatra progresses, it becomes evident that the YSRCP leaders are not just traversing geographical boundaries but are also forging stronger connections with the marginalised communities to further uplift and empower them.

Party senior leaders including Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy, Badvel MLA Dasari Sudha, MLC DC Govind Reddy, and others participated in the social empowerment yatra. They highlighted the YSRCP government’s commitment to social justice for the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities, emphasising its unwavering dedication to achieving inclusive development through investments in human capital.

Addressing the huge gathering, Local MLA D Sudha announced that the YSRCP government has extended Rs 1,268 crore in welfare benefits through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system to 1.38 lakh families in the constituency since 2019.

She pointed out, "Of the total 1.38 lakh families, 88,124 belong to BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities, wherein welfare benefits totaling Rs 787.72 crore were provided exclusively to these disadvantaged groups."

Commending CM Jagan for implementing transformative reforms in the healthcare sector and ensuring accessibility of the best medical treatment for the underprivileged, the MLA stated, "The increase in the Aarogya Sri limit from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 25 lakh has rendered healthcare affordable for every economically disadvantaged household in the state."

In a sharp and direct verbal assault on Chandrababu Naidu for his apparent disregard for the welfare of the poor, Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy said, "Chandrababu has followed a tendency for misleading voters, whereas CM Jagan distinguishes himself through his steadfast dedication to serving the people. While Chandrababu's approach seems to confine children from underprivileged backgrounds to their family-based occupation, CM Jagan has consistently taken the lead in empowering the lives of these marginalized children through the power of education."
