Tadepalli, March 10: YSRCP Student Wing State President Panuganti Chaitanya criticized CM Chandrababu Naidu for neglecting public issues and engaging in vindictive politics.
He demanded the immediate release of pending fee reimbursement dues, noting that unpaid fees have led colleges to withhold certificates, pushing students into distress and labour work. Chaitanya cited the suicide of Charan, a student from Anantapur, blaming the coalition government's indifference. He announced a major agitation on March 12, accusing the government of failing to provide unemployment allowances and Minister Lokesh of prioritizing a Dubai cricket trip over Group-2 students' struggles. He condemned Chandrababu for privatizing 17 medical colleges built by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and rejecting additional medical seats.
Ravichandra, the Working President, accused Chandrababu of endangering youth futures, stating the government owes Rs. 3,900 crore annually for fee reimbursements, causing college expulsions.
He criticized Pawan Kalyan’s silence, Chandrababu’s rejection of 2,050 medical seats, and unfulfilled job calendar and "Mega DSC" promises, alleging the CM dismantled Jagan’s education reforms. The YSRCP Student Wing will protest at collectorates statewide on March 12th.
