Local bodies results, slap on the face of TDP: YS Jagan

Tadepalli, April 2: Reaffirming the Party's commitment to value based politics, former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the victory of YSRCP in the recent bypolls to local bodies is a slap on the face for TDP which tried to usurp post despite lacking the required numbers.
Addressing the newly elected leaders of local bodies here on Wednesday, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the Party is proud of you who braved the deceptive politics of Chandrababu Naidu who tried to win seats where his Party has no numbers and has relied on coercion, force, manipulative practices and misuse of official machinery to win a few seats.

We have won 39 of the 50 seats for which by-elections were held which shows our strong resolve and people’s faith in us.
If ethics and morals are to be followed Chandrababu Naidu must have kept away from the polls but his arrogance stemming out of power made him field candidates and the results are before us and we won a big majority of the total seats.
We have seen the irregularities in Tirupati municipal elections, in Visakhapatnam our cadre stood firm and guarded our corporator, police had gone to threaten the wife of our coportor, in Ramagiiri YSRCP has nine of the ten MPTCs but they played foul to see that election could not be held there and police was misused resorting to kidnap of MPTCs and booked false cases. They also went to extent of murdering BC leader Lingaiah.
If the State resorts to such aggression, what sort of governance can we expect, he questioned.
In Chandrababu’s own constituency we swept all the 16 MPTCs of which size were lured by them. They restricted movement of our leaders and declared themselves as winner on their own.

In these elections women stood firm and I am proud of them and resolve of the cadre will be remembered for long as you stood with Jagan in difficult times. In the coming days we will be getting a landslide and Party will stand by the cadre. Jagan 2.0 would be very different, he said.
The cheating game of Chandrababu Naidu is reaching new peaks. P4 is the latest one. This a sort of unreasonable outsourcing, he may not be even aware of the number of white ration cards the state has. To brush up the data for Chandrbabu Naidu, 1.48 of the total 1.61 crore families hold white cards as they are below poverty line (BPL).  The state has 8.6 lakh Income Tax assesses which means according to P4 theory of Chandrababu Naidu, 8.6 lakh people should take care of the 1.48 crore families.
With such unrealistic approach, people are vexed with Chandrababu Naidu and are evading him.
They are now waiting for a leader who stands by his word and the governance that takes care of them, he said.
