YSRCP complaints against coalition’s intimidation

Visakhapatnam, April 1: YSRCP leaders, including Gudivada Amarnath, Karanam Dharmasri, KK Raju, Thippala Devan Reddy, and Chintalapudi Venkataramaya, have lodged a complaint with the District Collector against the coalition’s intimidation tactics.

Former Minister Gudivada Amarnath criticized the opposition for moving a no-confidence motion against the Mayor despite lacking the necessary strength, attributing it to their position in the state government.

YSRCP leaders condemned the misuse of police to threaten corporators and their families, questioning whether law enforcement was serving society or acting as TDP’s private security. They warned that such actions would be addressed when YSRCP returns to power.

They also raised concerns over large-scale land allocations in Visakhapatnam, alleging that lands worth Rs. 2,000 crore were being handed over recklessly under 99-year lease agreements.

Reaffirming their commitment to democracy, they urged the administration to act impartially and prevent political interference in governance.
