YS Jagan promises support to murdered YSRCP worker’s family

Tadepalli, April 1: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured full support to the family of Kuruba Lingamayya, a YSRCP worker who was brutally murdered by TDP activists in Sri Sathya Sai district.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy contacted Lingamayya’s family over phone to express his condolences and gather details about the tragic incident.

The murder took place in Papireddipalli, Ramagiri mandal, Rapthadu constituency, where Lingamayya was attacked and killed by approximately 20 TDP supporters on Ugadi  while returning from a temple, as told by his sons, Srinivasulu and Murali, during the conversation.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured the family, comprising Lingamayya’s wife and two sons, that the YSRCP would stand by them and provide all necessary assistance. He urged them not to lose hope and promised to personally visit them the following week. The family raised concerns about their safety, that the local Sub-Inspector was acting in a biased manner and creating an atmosphere of fear.

In response,  YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured them that the party’s district leaders and legal cell would be alerted to ensure their protection. “We will not stand by if anything happens to your family. The party will fully support you and assist you in every possible way. Do not be afraid; stay strong,” he reiterated, offering unwavering support to Lingamayya’s family during this difficult time.
