Coalition govt fails to uphold law and order

Tadepalli, April 11: Former minister Perni Nani criticized CM Chandrababu Naidu and Home Minister Anita for their malicious campaign against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He condemned Naidu’s inhumane response to YS Jagan’s visit to console the family of Kuruba Lingamiah, who was murdered by TDP goons. He said Naidu blocked YS Jagan’s helicopter permission and spread baseless claims about YSRCP cadre attempted to attack the helicopter, while TDP leaders made reckless statements.
Nani called YS Jagan a warrior who will defeat Naidu’s conspiracies, recalling Naidu’s dramatic jail antics, including fake health crises during his jail tenure. He stressed that while TDP holds power, public support remains with YS Jagan.
He raised concerns about police allowing crowds near YS Jagan’s helicopter, noting that even in 2019 election time, the Election Commission ensured YS Jagan’s safety. He criticized the central government for providing security cover to individuals who don't even hold local-level positions, while ignoring credible threats to  Jagan’s life.
Nani praised 90% of police as dutiful but criticized the 10% tarnishing the uniform. He slammed Anita’s irresponsible remarks stating as Pulivendula MLA.
He condemned the misuse of police powers in suppressing leaders like Thoputurthi Prakash Reddy while enabling him to control the crowd with a mic, and later booking illegal cases against him. Such misuse of power, he said, has led to fear among people, with many fleeing their villages for safety. He blamed the ruling coalition for creating a lawless environment where even police are unable to provide protection.
He also said that corrupt portfolios have been assigned to leaders like Kollu Ravindra, and that his OSD was removed due to suspicious financial activities. He asserted that Ravindra’s continuation in office is uncertain due to his questionable actions.
He highlighted how the moral degradation and harassment by TDP-led officials have even forced a senior IAS officer to go on leave. He questioned the silence of Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan when cows died at the TTD goshalas. In contrast, he reminded the people that  Jagan reconstructed temples, rebuilt chariots, and reinstalled deities where they had been desecrated during Chandrababu’s rule, thereby upholding and protecting Hindu dharma.
