Former cop trying to implement TDP’s hidden agenda

former MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy

Hyderabad, April 14: Affirming that the coalition government is trying to implement its hidden agenda by pressing former police official into service in the garb political entry to discredit the opposition unmindful that the facts speak otherwise.
Speaking to media here on Monday former MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy questioned the rationale of former intelligence Chief AB Venkateswara Rao meeting the accused in the attempt to murder on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Vizag airport and speaking in the voice TDP about the case.
‘I invite you to an open debate on the issue anytime,’ he said adding that the former cop was being used by TDP to settle political scores. The NIA charge-sheet has clearly mentioned that the person carried out the attack with a sharp weapon aimed at the neck with the intention to kill YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in October 2018. The former cop now coming to town, taking photos with the accused and talking tall indicates that there is some secret agenda.
He has been speaking in a manner and measure which is undemocratic and is trying to whip up passions and to create a wedge to serve the interests of his masters, he said.
Rao was suspended from service following serious allegations and it seems that he wants to vent his vengeance at the behest of TDP with the Red Book constitution in full play, and not the BR Ambedkar constitution which is the driving force of democracy, he said.
The security of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is of serious concern in the coalition government, be it at Guntur, Ananthapur or north Andhra and it is perceived that there is a secret agenda to do harm to our leader, he said.
Even in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, the accused has given his confession and detailed about the murder but still TDP is trying to create new theories speaking of larger conspiracy and wants to somehow bring in names of those whom Chandarbabu wants to pull in to the cases. That is the reason why the case is being dragged so long even after the main accused detailing about the incident.
AB Venkateswara Rao is now trying to flare up the issue which was cleared by the NIA investigation and if the former Intelligence Chief wants to join politics one can understand but using such ploys clearly spells out his intentions and that of those who are influencing him, he said.
It was YS Rajsekhar Reddy who brought in peace by curbing faction politics and holding talks with Maoists while they were on the rise during Chandrababu’s terms.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ushered in educational reforms, gave priority to medicare and agriculture besides creating jobs and Chandarbabu Naidu’s agenda seems to be dubious and disturbing, he said.
