YSRCP condemns atrocities on Dalit, BC Youth in Hindupur

Tadepalli, April 15: YSRCP spokesperson Ankamreddy Narayanamurthy strongly condemned the inhumane treatment of Bahujan youth by the Hindupur police on Ambedkar Jayanti. He stated that BC youth Lokesh and Dalit youth Naveen were illegally arrested for questioning a social media post targeting former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Acting on directions from senior TDP leaders, police paraded the youth in handcuffs, barefoot under the scorching sun, in clear violation of legal norms.

Narayanamurthy called the act unconstitutional and warned that officers exceeding their authority would face judicial scrutiny. He criticized the state's deteriorating law and order and the rise of Red Book-style governance under the TDP-led alliance. Reaffirming YSRCP’s commitment to social justice, he said the party would pursue legal action and protect the dignity and rights of Dalits and Bahujans from oppressive state actions.
