landslide victory to YSRCP

Amaravati, March 14: YSRCP has clean sweeped urban body elections by winning 74 out of 75 municipalities and trends suggest win in all the corporations. YSRCP already have won in Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittor, Tirupati, Ongole, Guntur corporations. Counting is being continued in Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam Corporation where YSRCP has good lead.
Elections were held for 12 corporations and counting is pending in Eluru corporation due to High Court orders.
Though TDP has won 12 wards and YSRCP won 11 wards in Mydukur municipality, YSRCP candidate will become Chairperson with Ex Officio Votes.
The elections were held after two years of YSRCP governance and the results stood as bech mark for the governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The massive results is due to the implementation of welfare schemes by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy despite corona pandemic.
Apart from implementing welfare schemes, the Chief Minister also paved way for development of the urban bodies. The Urban community also supported the policies of YSRCP Government and blessed with landslide victory.
