SI targeting YS Jagan to please Naidu

Anantapur, April 9: Former MLA Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy has criticized Ramagiri Sub-Inspector (SI) Sudhakar for targeting former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to curry favour with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Sudhakar lacked the stature to criticize YS Jagan and held him responsible for the murder of YSRCP activist Kuruba Lingamaiah in Ramagiri. SI had compromised his position by aligning himself with the Telugu Desam Party. SI has effectively "pawned his khaki uniform" to serve TDP interests and TDP leaders acting with impunity under his support. TDP leaders act with impunity under Sudhakar’s support, questioning if the uniform was meant for serving as a TDP relative.

Thopudurthi claimed SI Sudhakar seeks a TDP ticket through MLA Paritala Sunitha for the upcoming elections, though he noted her family’s diminished influence with Naidu after she called him a "servile son." He questioned the propriety of listing Paritala Sunitha’s relatives, accused in Lingamaiah’s murder, as witnesses. Additionally, he stated that SI Sudhakar was amassing illegal assets, criticized the silence on TDP leaders Atchannaidu and Naidu’s remarks against police, and defended YS Jagan’s threat to "strip police pleasing Chandrababu" during his Papireddy tour, citing no fault in it. His statements underscore a growing political divide and misuse of power.
